Playshop 2 (Saturday afternoon): Arm Balance Flow

Learn to connect your arm balances and inversions into a seamless flow. Be ready to take on new movement drills to take your arm balances to the next level. All levels welcome.

Playshop 3 (Sunday morning): Path to Handstand

Learn the fundamentals of handstands and how to maintain the prerequisites for effective handstand balancing. We'll go through proper mechanics and anatomy, so you can practice it safely, incorporating strength, integrity, grace and ease. All levels welcome.

Playshop 4 (Sunday afternoon): Strength and Mobility Principles

Learn to build true strength through asana by using isometric exercises properly. We will also go through movement drills to understand flexibility vs. mobility, and how this applies to asana or any other kind of movement practice. This is a fun, sweaty master class that will inspire you to begin your own daily mobility routine to maintain happy and healthy joints! All levels welcome.

About Joey Diehl

Joey is an Illinois-based yoga teacher, a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and a professional MMA fighter. He loves sharing his passion for yoga and movement to both athletes and non-athletes alike, and draws inspiration from seeing how the benefits of the practice positively changes his students, his fellow jiu-jitsu practitioners and himself. When he isn’t training BJJ, handstanding, teaching yoga, coaching kids at the Team Curran Academy or playing with his cat, Tenzing, he is travelling the world, being a student first, and learning from everyone he shares the mat with.
