Introduction to Mindful Self-Compassion

Learn how to respond to difficult moments in your lives with kindness, care and understanding through this experiential introduction to Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC). Through discussions, short exercises, guided meditations, and your own reflections and questions, the workshop aims for participants to:
- Gain introductory practical skills to bring self-compassion into daily life
- Learn how to handle difficult emotions with greater ease
- Self-motivate to interact with others from a place of kindness rather than criticism
About the facilitator:
Margarita Reyes is a trained teacher for Mindful Self-Compassion through the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion, under the School of Medicine at the University of California - San Diego. She is an Accredited Mediator for both the Office of Alternative Dispute Resolution (OADR) under DOJ, and the National Center for Mediation under the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She is a facilitator, trainor and a conflict and mindfulness coach for Conflict Resolution Group (CORE). She holds a Teach Mindfulness certification from the UK with Mindfulness guru and author Shamash Alidina.
